Kumasi Asante have sacked their Coach Maxwell Konadu after a poor run of form with a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday being the last straw.
The Club confirmed the dismissal of the former Black Stars Assistant Coach via their twitter handle in the early hours of Friday. Assistant Coach Johnson Smith has been appointed to lead the team in the interim.
Maxwell Konadu was appointed Head Coach of the Porcupine Warriors in December 2019 replacing Norwegian trainer Kjetil Zachariassen who was sacked for a similar fate.
Konadu signed a two-year renewable contract during his appointment.
