Dortmund and Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has suffered a hamstring injury, which will see him out of action for the remainder of 2020.
The prolific striker will play no further part until next year after injuring himself in training ahead of last night’s 1-1 draw with Lazio in the Champions League
Haaland has been in fine form since signing for the Germans in December 2019, scoring 33 goals in just 32 games.
Prior to his arrival in the Bundesliga, the 20-year-old scored 28 goals in just 22 matches for Red Bull Salzburg.
Manchester United were strongly linked with a move before Haaland opted to join Dortmund.
Haaland will now be watching from the sidelines as he recovers from his hamstring setback until January 2021.
