Ghana coach Charles Akonnor has named a strong 23-man squad that includes newcomers Mubarak Wakaso, Jeffrey Schlupp and Majeed Ashimeru for Tuesday 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Cup qualifier in Sudan.
The China-based midfield supremo Wakaso was not available when they played the Nile Crocodiles in Thursday’s Group C clash against the same opponents.
His team Suning decided not to release the player who subsequently helped them to beat giants Guangzhou Evergrade to win the Chinese Super League on Friday, the first time in its history.
He has now arrived to join the two Europe-based players were not available for the Black Stars when they played the Nile Crocodiles in Thursday’s Group C clash against the same opponents.

The Black Stars will depart Accra on Sunday, November 15, for Khartoum for the return leg of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.

Ghana are on the brink of booking a place at the 2021 Cup of Cup of Nations, scheduled for Cameroon in January 2022.

Sudan will host Ghana on Tuesday, November 17, in a matchday four tie at Omdurman, Khartoum.
The match is scheduled for 13:00 GMT kick off.
