The Government of Ghana has announced that, the State will officially open a book of condolence for the late former President Jerry John Rawlings on Monday, November 16, 2020.
According to the Government, the Book will be opened to the general public at the Accra International Conference Centre from 9am to 5 pm.
On the authority of a statement sighted by Plan B FM and signed by the Head of Protocol, Office of the Vice President and Moderator of the signing of the Book of Condolence, the Book will be closed on Friday November 20, 2020.
The statement added that former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and John Mahama will be signing the Book of condolence on Monday, 16th November, 2020, after the Speaker of Parliament, the Chief Justice, members of the Judicial Council and Justices of the Supreme Court have signed.
They would be followed by the former first and second ladies of the Republic and other high profile persons.
The general public will be given the chance to sign the book on Thursday, November 19 and Friday, November 20 before the book is finally closed.
