The National Sports Authority has back down on the proposed new charges for clubs who intend to use the Accra Sports Stadium as their home venue for the Ghana Premier League matches.

This was contained in a letter signed by the Director General of the NSA, Prof. Peter Twumasi.

On Tuesday October 20, the NSA wrote to the Ghana Football Association informing them of this new charges for clubs who have decided to use the Accra Sports Stadium for league matches for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

In the statement dated 19th October 2020, the NSA indicated matches involving Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko against any other opponents will attract a fixed fee of Gh₵ 20,000, while all other matches not involving Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, will attract a Gh₵ 15,000 fee.
