H.E. President Nana Akufo-Addo has disclosed that 92 international travellers arriving in Ghana through the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) have tested positive for Coronavirus.
According to the President, all 92 persons who have tested positive so far, on arrival are asymptomatic.
He stated that, out of 35,000 passengers who arrived in the country through KIA since the airport was re-opened on September 1, 2020, only 96 tested positive.
The President made this announcement during his 18th address to the nation on measures being taken against the spread of coronavirus in the country.
Unlike the previous addresses which were delivered in the Jubilee house, last night’s address was from the Peduasi Lodge in Aburi.
