50,000 Cedis Is Gone: NDC Party Office Allegedly Set Ablaze By Unknown Men In Ashanti Region

The biggest opposition party in Ghana, National Democratic Congress NDC has recorded another sad news from the Ashanti Region of Ghana. This sad news was reported from Kingdom News this evening 15th May 2022 and it was confirmed by one of the NDC Constituency Chairman In Ashanti Region by name Honorable Abu Saddiq.

According to the report, the National Democratic Congress NDC invested an amount of 50,000.00 Ghana Cedis in building that party office. Currently, the party office was consumed by the fire and nothing was retrieved from the office. The 50,000.00 Cedis which was used to set up the office is gone.

Other laptops, computers and party documents burn into ashes. It was a terrible scene indeed. It was alleged that unknown men are behind the burning of the party office in Ashanti Region. The police officers and fire service personnels have intervene to conduct the necessary investigation to determine the exact cause of the incidence.

This sad incidence occured in Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

“The incidence occured around 1am and I received a phone call from some of the party members around the party office. We quickly called the police and the fire service officers to the scene to quench the fire and to conduct the necessary investigation. It was unfortunate that, they fire service officers arrived the scene late. We lost our computers, laptops and other documents. But we leave everything in the hands of God”. – Honorable Abu Saddiq NDC Constituency Chairman For Atwima Nwabiagya south stated.

Honorable Abu Saddiq added that, NDC will be conducting internal elections every soon. But he is going to call headquarters to see what they can do as soon as possible before the internal elections scheduled by the National Executives of the National Democratic Congress NDC.
