3rd Term reopening date 2022

In the reference to the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Ghana Education Service (GES) reviewed trimester academic calendar for Basic Schools, the third term of the 2022 academic year will start on Tuesday, 13th September, 2022.

3rd Term week ending duration 2022

According to the Academic Calendar, the 3rd term has a total of fourteen (14) weeks. The first week ending is Friday, 16th September, 2022 and the last week ending is Friday, 16th December, 2022 (14 weeks).

Holidays/Events in there 3rd Term 2022

1.  Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, on 21st September, 2022.

2. Farmers Day on 2nd December, 2022.

2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)

According to the West African Examination Council (WAEC) timetable, the 2022 BECE shall commence on Monday, 17th October and ends on Friday, 21st October, 2022.

Propose dates to conduct 2022 National Standardised Test for P2 and P4 students

GES and NaCCA have proposed to conduct the 2022 National Standardised Test (NST) for Primary two (2) students from 1st November to 30th November, 2022 and between 12th December to 16th December, 2022 for Primary four (4) students respectively.

Revision Week for 3rd Term 2022

The 12th week (28th November to 2nd December, 2022) is scheduled for revision.

End of 3rd term Examination/Marking and Recording 2022

End of third term examination is expected to commence on Monday, 5th December, 2022 (13th week).

3rd term vacation date 2022

Vacation date for the third term is scheduled on Thursday, 15th December, 2022.
