29-year-old inmate Peter Kyeremeh escapes from prison

The Ghana Prisons Service has launched a search for 29-year-old inmate Peter Kyeremeh following his escape from custody.

Kyeremeh was serving a five-year sentence with hard labour for unlawful entry and stealing, according to the Service.

He is described as fair in complexion and slim.

The Service is appealing to members of the public with information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or prison establishment.

Anyone who sees Kyeremeh or has information that could assist in his apprehension can also contact the Ghana Prisons Service on 0506232978.

The Service has urged the public to assist in locating and apprehending the escaped inmate.
