A 28-year-old female has gone missing for the past 9 months as her family continues to search for her.

According to the sister, Mary Ama Opoku Darko was last seen on February 29, 2021, after she did not meet her home from work and has since not set her eyes on her.

She explained they are a family of four residing in Accra which includes Mary Darko and her twin sister and a blind mother who they could not give any vivid information concerning the whereabouts of their sister.

Also, when they called her to ask for her whereabouts during the initial stage of her disappearance, she revealed she is in Takoradi and will return soon.

“I tried to call her with my number but she did not pick up my calls, so I gave her number to my cousin to try and reach her, she picked and revealed she is now in Takoradi and was somehow furious that a lot of people have been calling her concerning her whereabouts,” she said.

According to her, that was in February, 2021, and since then, her phone number has not gone through up to date and the family suspects something might have happened to her.

The case has since been reported to the Nima Police Station in Accra as the family is pleading with the general public to come out with any information concerning her location.
