Fidel Nii-Akuffo Bortey, the Director of Tema West National Commission for Civic Education, has urged the public to refrain from engaging in electoral malpractices and avoid being manipulated into causing mayhem during the upcoming elections.

In an interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie show, he emphasized that such actions are against the law and can result in severe consequences. He also highlighted the importance of learning from past experiences and the need for religious tolerance and impartiality from traditional rulers.

Additionally, he stressed the threat of monetization in politics and its potential impact on democracy.

By promoting awareness and education, Bortey aims to ensure a peaceful and democratic electoral process.
