A 26-man squad for Angola’s double-header 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola has been made public by head coach Pedro Goncalves.
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying round will include a two-legged match between Ghana and the Angolan Palancras Negras.
Pedro Goncalves held a press conference at the Angola Football Association hq in Luanda on Tuesday afternoon to reveal the twenty-six (26) players invited for the crucial match against the Black Stars.
On March 23, Angola’s Palancras Negras will visit Ghana at the Baba Yara Sports stadium, and on March 27, 2023, the teams will meet again in Luanda.
With four points from two games, the Black Stars of Ghana is tied for first place in Group E after defeating Madagascar 3-0 and drawing with the Central African Republic 1-1 in June of last year.
Chris Hughton, the newly appointed head coach for Ghana, unveiled a 25-man squad last week.
